Curtain Rack is a soft furnishings company, trading solely online at very competitive prices and features leading brands such as Kylie at Home, Twiggy and Linda Barker.
With a new management team in place, the former website did not provide the professional look and feel along with the functionality required to promote visitors’ confidence to purchase their soft furnishings on the site. It was imperative that the new e-commerce website was created to present a professional, easy to use and trustworthy image.
HMA's digital team created a better performing website that provides Curtain Rack's customers with an enhanced online shopping experience. With products listed by category and brand, the system provides user friendly and intuitive navigation. The custom made ordering system enhances the website’s purchasing process by automatically calculating the cost of curtains and blinds based on selected measurements and materials.
The website is updated by Curtain Rack via HMA’s Microsoft Certified content management system which also incorporates a bespoke order processing and reporting system to make order management simple, providing Curtain Rack with improved business efficiency.Traffic to the site is monitored on a regular basis via an analytics package. HMA facilitate increased traffic to the new Curtain Rack website by implementing and managing an ongoing Google AdWords Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign, competing with the likes of John Lewis and Marks & Spencers for popular keywords such as ‘Curtains’ and ‘Bed Linen’.Plans are afoot to develop the Curtain Rack website further in the future by providing more prestigious, exclusive brands online, trading internationally and providing new functionality for an enhanced user experience.
