Unlike many of our competitors we are committed to programming and developing all our websites in-house, not only to maintain technical accuracy but also because our technical development team, together with the creatives and account managers, are integral to resolving any given brief and are not just a resource brought in to complete a project.
All of HMA's websites are developed to at least W3C WAI 1.0 specification for accessibility in order to comply with current legislation. Our websites are fully functional in browsers that comply with W3C standards and are designed to degrade for text only browsers.
Microsoft certified partner
We are certified Microsoft partners and mostly develop within Microsoft's .NET platform which provides better performance, security and scalability. Integration with other systems is also made easier with .NET due to the support for web services and XML data.
Hand coded HTML
The HMA Digital Marketing development team hand code HTML and CSS rather than use software that generates needless HTML. This permits the use of techniques that mean your pages render faster, with a smaller file size, and so are quicker to download over slower connections and are easier to amend.
