HMA Storehold is a secure document storage and retrieval system
Storehold provides an archive for important documents that require long term secure storage. All digital file types are supported. There is no limit to the number of folders created or files stored and no limit (and no charge) to the number of users given access to the system. A straightforward but flexible permissions system allows authorised users to easily retrieve and upload documents to the Storehold. The tiered approach to administration rights means that clients can, if required, share the responsibility of managing their Storehold with trusted third parties.
Because the system has been designed for the sole purpose of document storage and retrieval it does not have additional functionality to complicate the process. HMA Storehold can be introduced to new users with very little induction or training due to the intuitive interface design, familiar folder structure and guidance notes attached to the system.
The system provides full details of each file’s history and, while the system does not provide version control, a new version of an existing file can be linked to a previously uploaded version. Users can directly email a document from the system to a third party and users are emailed when there is activity within a folder to which they are subscribed.
The HMA Storehold server is held in a secure dedicated data centre rated for use by the NHS, police and local and national government. All data is backed up daily and held securely off-site.
